This page describes what happens to information when you visit glp1medication.guide. It is written to match what the site actually does, not what a template says a website usually does.
The short version
You do not give us anything. There is no account, no sign-up, no newsletter and no contact form. We measure how the site is used, in aggregate, and that is all.
What is collected when you visit
Usage measurement
Every page loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5BHJNW86),
which in turn loads Google Analytics. That records which pages you viewed, when,
roughly where you are (derived from your IP address, not a precise location),
which browser and device you used, and which site or search you arrived from.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit.
We use this to see which guides get read and which do not. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we have no way to link it to a name.
Every page also loads PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States. It records the same kind of usage data in more detail, so we can see which guides are read to the end rather than only opened. It sets a cookie for the same reason Google Analytics does, to tell one visit from another. We do not send it anything you type, because the calculators run entirely in your browser and their inputs never leave the page.
Fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your
browser makes that request directly to Google, which means Google receives your
IP address and user agent as part of it.
Delivery and security
The site is served through Cloudflare, which sits between your browser and our server. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, to deliver pages and to block abuse. Our own web server keeps standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent.
What the calculators do
The dose calculator, stack builder and country checker run entirely inside your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to us and are not stored anywhere. Closing the tab discards them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent information about you to anyone.
- We do not run advertising, ad networks or retargeting pixels.
- We do not have accounts, logins or passwords.
- We do not ask for, receive or store health information about you. Nothing on this site is a place to tell us about your own treatment.
Who else receives data
Google, as the provider of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Fonts. PostHog, as the provider of the usage analytics described above, which processes that data on servers in the United States. Cloudflare, as the provider that serves the site. All three act as processors for the purposes described above. Nobody else.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Server access logs are kept on a short rolling window for operational and security purposes.
Your choices
You can block analytics with a browser setting, an extension, or by declining cookies in your browser. The site works normally without it. Nothing on this site requires cookies to function.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information relates to you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to it being processed. Because we collect no accounts and no names, we usually cannot connect a request to a specific record. We will still act on what we can identify.
